I pray they never call it quits on this ceremony! It’s so important that they televise and broadcast shows that recognize and celebrate black women! Regardless of what industry there thriving in, its inspiring, encouraging and motivating! Especially to young black girls of today! Staying on topic; lets look at the fashion and the glamorous looks on the red carpet!
E! TV presenter Alicia Quarles hit up the red carpet in a black and white jumpsuit that I really like! She made this look really interesting with the choker and shoes!
Tatiana Ali also went for a jumpsuit! Love it! I’m a sucker for lace, love that she pulled her hair back so we can appreciate the lace and the plunge! Sexy.
Jill Scott also went for a jumpsuit… everything about this look is a little off for me. Not feeling the hair or the shoes with the jumpsuit. She should of went with something that would calm down this jumpsuit, the contrast pattern alone is enough on her.
There is beauty in simplicity!!! Love it! Ciara looks simple and beautiful! Hair and make up: just flawless! My fav on the red carpet!
I get and like Kat Grahams style, its sassy and a lil dramatic. I like this look for the red carpet!
Regina King! Yess to this power suit! Metallic Silver has never looked so good! Down to the shoes too? Love this look! Very befitting; she was the host!
A bit disappointed in Bridget Kelly’s look. This dress does nothing for her! She has such a bold and sultry voice would have love to see her go a similar direction with her style.
I think it’s amazing what Janelle Monae does with black and white. It’s all she wears and she somehow manages to keep it interesting everytime! Bravo! The shoes are giving me life!
Jada Pinkett Smith is killing the game right now in this Versace dress! And she is in her 40’s too?! Game over! She looks hot!
Respect to Willow Smith! She kept it cute and classy by going for something very age appropriate while keeping it cute and chic! Love it! She’s being raised RIGHT!!! #NoShade
This pic right here! Grandmother, mother and daughter! If I was totally oblivious to who they were, I would not be able to tell you who was who! Amazing genes!
Faith Evans looked stunning and is aging so gracefully! Fab!
Beverly Bond; founder of Black Girls Rock showed and proved in this powder blue gown! Love it on her! She looks fabulous!
Last but in no way least! Our First Lady Michele Obama stopped by looking amazing and proclaiming that Black Girls Seriously Rock! As you can see!
