It’s the most prestigious night in film! A night which celebrates and recognizes all those affiliated with Cinema from actors, actresses, to directors and editors. Watching highlights on the news this morning; it looked like an emotional night! With worthy winners and heartfelt speeches! But to my favourite aspect of the show – The Red Carpet! Check out my favourite looks below, who is your best dressed?
Lets start of with J.LO in her signature hue with a dash of bling. There’s no doubt that this colour looks great on her, it’s what she’s all about; that golden glow. The dress is by Elie Saab, I love the deep cleavage cut and how cinched her waist looks with the thin nude belt. She looks beautiful as always.
Kiera Knightley also went with a nude dress, but It couldn’t be more different than J.LO’s. Kiera’s dress is by Valentino, i’m in love with it. I applaud her for going with this look, it’s nothing like your traditional ball gown. I love the embroidery, really pretty. Considering that Kiera is expecting she looks amazing, the dress is flattering on her.
Reese Witherspoon looked hot if i must say! That’s what Tom Ford does to women!
Chrissy Teigen is ticking all my boxes! For hair, make up, shoes and dress! The dress is by Zuhair Murad. Love the pale blue, the contrast between the top and bottom of the dress as well as the thigh high slit, which is everything. I think Chrissy is wearing the dress well, it could of so easily gone so wrong.
I really like this look beacause, assuming I saw it on the runway I would have said it belongs on a distinguished actress and well well well look who it is; Cate Blanchett
Gorgeous! How bold of Emma Stone, well not really, as she is a pro at giving us bold looks on the red carpet. I love how all the colours work together here. Dress by Elie Saab.
Not sure If I like this dress on Gwyneth Paltrow… still undecided. Somethings off for me; its either the colour of the dress or the hair… can’t put my finger on it!
Jennifer Aniston in Versace. For the longest time I’ve been complaining that I’d love to see Jenny in some colour. That day has come, she’s actually been sporting a variety of colours on the red carpet lately. Love this Versace nude dress, but dare I say it? I miss Jenny in black! Lol
This colour is gorgeous on Jennifer Hudson! Dress is by Romona Keveza and is perfect with her hair cut!
A minimal look from Karolina Kurkova, i really like it! Not too sure about the pale pink on her tho. Dress by Marchesa.
My homegirl Kelly Osbourne always slays!
Not so crazy about Kerry Washington’s look, infact I’m a lil disappointed. The Miu Miu dress is not flattering on her at all.
Rock Chic Glamour! I love it! Margaret Robbie looks fab in Saint Laurent. Love everything about this look.
I really love this dress and admire the lady in it. Marion Cotillard in Dior couture. She looks amazing!
Meryl Streep looks awfully bossy in this ensemble! Lanvin! Very befitting!
How gorgeous is this dress? By Armani Prive. Naomi Watts is winning!
Not too outrageous from Lady Gaga! I love the red gloves, dress is beautiful! Check out all that detail! Dress by Alaia.
Lupita in Calvin Klien. I love the dress and this colour on Lupita! All that beading, wow! Beautiful.
We can always count on Rita Ora to bring the drama! Fierce in Marchesa.
Super sexual! Absolutely love it! The fitting is perfect and the green is stunning on Scarlett! Verscae! That choker!!
Hair and make up super fierce on Sienna Miller, then the dress is pretty, love the irony. Dress by Oscar De La Renta R.I.P
Yass Solange! In her fav Christian Siriano. I love the combo, she’s covered up entirely and still manages to WOW me. Love the flow of this ensemble, the hair and make up compliments this look so well too.
Viola Davis in Zac Posen, she looks fab! I love how her natural hair works so well with this dress.
Finally my best dressed! Zoe Saladana in Versace. The dress is stunning on her! She is glowing! Especially after having twins! In love with her hair and make up. The choker is a nice touch, I cannot fault this look!
