Duro Olowu, Nigerian designer based in London. I’m a big fan of his stylish, bold creations! I love how he works with colours and shapes. I love his use of patterns and sometimes how he uses African patterns to create elegant, unique really chic pieces! One of his biggest fans is Michelle Obama, she’s been spotted in his dresses! His latest collection is available at JC Penney in the states. They describe his collection as “…a riot of pattern and colour” I LOVE IT!
I’m guessing this is a good example of what JC Penney meant by a riot of colours and patterns! Adore this dress! Love it with pointed pumps! With the blocking of colours and patterns with this dress it leaves you with so many options for shoes. And the clutch bag! Oh my! Funmi needs that clutch bag!
Wish you could see how gaga i’m going for this entire look! My favourite shape of trousers, the palazzo! And there red! Love Olowu’s use of red in this collection, he’s used the colour red to create some necessary statement pieces!
